Dinah Daniel Istifanus
Executive Director
Dinah Daniel Istifanus was born in Jos’s city, an indigene of Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Nigeria. With over two decades of experience in non-profit making organization in Nigeria, Dinah's journey in development work began at the Development Exchange Center (DEC) in Bauchi from 2003 to 2005. During this time, she held positions of Community Training Officer and Finance Officer.
In 2007, Dinah joined FAWOYDI as a Finance Officer and steadily climbed the ranks to become Deputy Executive Director in January 2022. On the 1st April 2023 She has been appointed as the Executive Director.
Throughout her career, Dinah has directly or indirectly impacted over 100,000 vulnerable individuals in society. She achieved this through direct assistance and by creating an enabling environment that supports the most vulnerable.
Dinah holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Bauchi State University and is a certified national accountant accredited by the Nigerian College of Accountancy in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.
She has attended various workshops covering leadership, board governance, organizational effectiveness, peer educator training on reproductive health, diversity management when working with vulnerable children, facilitation skills, and water purification. Dinah has also conducted community-level and inter-state training sessions for diverse groups of participants among others are: partnership against poverty (PAP)/ local right project (LRP) funded by ActionAid Nigeria, Girls Education Project (GEP 3) funded by ActionAid Nigeria, RTI LEAD funded projects, Girls for Girls project funded by UNICEF, and Life Skill Program for Girls/Boys funded by MEDA.
Tajuddeen Yunusa
Administrative Officer
Tajuddeen Yunusa was born on March 10th, 1987 at Burwat village in Tafawa Balewa LGA of Bauchi State. Holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration and Policy (PGDPAP) as well as Higher National Diploma Public Administration, with eight years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, Program Coordination, Office Management, Data Collection, Analysis, Interpretation, and administrative work.
Tajuddeen's career began as a Clerical Assistant with Bauchi Local Education Authority (LEA), followed by roles as Finance and Administrative Assistant with Youth Adolescent Health Initiative and Counseling (YAHIC) in Bauchi State.
He also served as a Classroom Teacher at Government Technical College Mashi, Katsina State, and later as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Fahimta Women and Youth Development Initiative in Bauchi.He further worked as a Data Officer at Bauchi State Agency for Mass Education (BASAME) and as a Program Coordinator at Ramat Development Initiative (RDI) in Bauchi. Currently, Tajuddeen serves as an Administrative Officer at Fahimta Women and Youth Development Initiative (FAWOYDI) in Bauchi.
Faith Adidu
Acting Program Manager.
Faith Adidu is a graduate from the Department of Office Technology and Management at Federal Polytechnic Bauchi. With over nine years of experience in managing administrative components of organizations and community-based interventions as a program officer, her portfolio includes projects such as Girls Education Project (GEP 3) funded by ActionAid Nigeria, RTI LEAD funded projects, Girls for Girls project funded by UNICEF, and Public Financing Agriculture funded by ActionAid Nigeria, as well as Life Skill Program for Girls/Boys funded by MEDA. Faith is proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting to both organizations and donors. With skill on Mentorship, Budget and Facilitating skills She hails from Otukpo LGA of Benue state.
Altine Y. Bani
Program Officer .
Altine Y. Bani hails from Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Nigeria. She studied Animal Health and Production Technology at Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi State, from 2008 to 2010, and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Animal Health Technology from Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Vom Plateau State, in 2013. She served in the State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Katsina State in 2015 during her NYSC.
In 2019, Altine obtained a professional certificate in Savings and Loan Group (SLG) formation from Youth Entrepreneurship and Women’s Empowerment in Northern Nigeria, sponsored by MEDA Nigeria WAY. In 2022, she earned a professional certificate in Human Rights-Based Approach from Actionaid Nigeria and another professional certificate in Proposal Development and Report Writing from KAYA.
Altine's diverse experience includes serving as a classroom teacher at General Hassan Usman Unity College, Bauchi State, in 2017. She is a team player, gender-based violence activist, report writer, community mobilizer, and communication specialist. Currently, Altine works as a Program Officer with Fahimta Women and Youth Development Initiative in Bauchi.
Aminah S. Mustapha
Program Officer .
Aminah Suleiman-Mustapha works as a program officer at FAWOYDI. Graduating Magna-cum Laude from ATBU with a B.Tech in Quantity Surveying, adding to her diploma in the same field from the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, she hails from Illorin and is an accomplished Ghostwriter and Content Editor on Fiverr. In her free time, she reads and tailors while taking care of her three boys.
Fatima M. Audi
Program Officer .
Fatima Muhammad Audi is a passionate development worker from Bauchi, Nigeria. She holds a higher national diploma in Accountancy and is married with children. Fatima currently works with Fahimta women and youth development initiative Bauchi as a program officer. Her dedication to helping children, women, youth and elderly people/PWDs is a testament to her commitment to improving the lives of those in need, especially the most vulnerable one's.
Godwin Okpe
Program Officer .
Godwin Okpe is a talented, and purposeful individual driven by the motivation to make contributions count towards bettering society and the world at large. His exposure to communities, competing mediums, volunteering mediums, youth development, and leadership development opportunities has inspired him to contribute to "building a better future by preparing the future, from the present.
Currently, he is a staff member of Fahimta and Youth Development Initiative (FAWOYDI), where he serves as a programmer, Monitoring and Evaluation advisory, community mobilizer, resource mobilizer, women activist and focal-driven staff for women participation in the leadership process in FAWOYDI project-implementing communities.
John Daniel
Program Officer .
John Daniel was born in Tafawa Balewa on February 14, 1994. a native of Boi village, Bogoro LGA, Bauchi State, and presently live in Kafin Tafawa, Bayara-Dass Road, Bauchi.
He attended LGEA Primary School, Banda, Lokoja (1999-2005) where He obtained First School Leaving Certificate. He was then enrolled in LGSS Karara, Lokoja, Kogi State (2005-2011) where he acquired Senior School Certificate (WAEC) he then learned Computer Operations at Henvik Computer Institute Bauchi, Bauchi State (2012) and obtained First Degree at ATBU Bauchi, Bauchi State (2013-2018).
He have worked in many places and presently work at Fahimta Women and Youths Development Initiative, Bauchi as LGA Facilitator, CFCI, a UNICEF funded project in Toro LGA, Bauchi State.
Although he studied Education and Technology, he love entrepreneurship and development work. and he's hoping to become a renowned entrepreneur and development expert in no distant time.
Maryam Musa
Program Officer .
A 29 years Maryam Musa is an indigene of Dass local Government’s area of Bauchi state, residing behind vocational training school, married with two children, holds a Higher National Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from federal Polytechnic Bauchi, currently working with Fahimta Women and Youth Development Initiative as a program Officer/Health and Nutrition officer.
Mustapha Idris
Monitoring and Evaluation Manager.
Mustapha Idris Ajanah hails from Kogi state and was born on the 24th of March, 1967. He attended his primary and tertiary institutions in Jos, Plateau state, where he obtained his primary school and Diploma certificates in Accounting. To further improve and expand his knowledge, he gained admission into Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, where he continued with accounting and graduated with a Higher National Diploma.
In 1997/1998, Mustapha Idris Ajanah advanced his studies by gaining another admission at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, where he also graduated and was awarded an Advance Diploma in Accounting and Auditing. In 1998/1999, he went back to ATBU Bauchi for his Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management.
Mustapha Idris Ajanah is happily married to Rahmatu Musa Abdullahi and is blessed with seven (7) children (Male: 2, Female: 5), of which 2 are graduates. He has worked with different private organizations, including Nigeria Bottling Company (Coca-Cola), Nasco Group of Company, Shadan International Computers, LANTANA Meat factory, Unilever, JOHN-HOLT, and currently with Fahimta Women and Youth Development Initiative from 2009 to date, where he has served in various capacities.
Sa'adatu Muhammad
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer .
Sa'adatu Muhammad, was born in Dass local government of Bauchi State. She completed my primary school education at Jibrin Aminu Primary School in Bauchi, followed by her secondary education at Government Girls College in Bauchi State. She holds a certified NCE holder from the College of Education Azare, Bauchi State.She is currently working with FAWOYDI Bauchi as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
Shehu Garba
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer .
Shehu Garba is from Wase Local Government of Plateau State, Nigeria. He was born on August 1st 1986 and was brought up in Jos North of Plateau State, he presently live in Bauchi, Bauchi State. He attended Dadin Kowa Private School in Jos and Islamiyah Pilot Science School Jos where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. He attended Government Secondary School Kufang Jos and also attended General Hassan Usman Katsina Unity College Bauchi where he obtained O-Level certificate.
He attended Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, where he obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) in Banking and Finance, and he also went for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Gombe State. He also obtained Diploma in Computer Operations at Professor Iya Abubakar Community Resource Center Bauchi.
